The Cooper House is an award winning Myrtle Beach wedding venue for indoor or outdoor wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. Our historic buildings are climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. Our famous & romantic outdoor ceremony stage is set under a centuries old moss draped Live Oak tree that shades the area.

The Cooper House property showcases two historic buildings nestled on 2 beautiful acres in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

The 102 year old Main House has been carefully remodeled to retain the charm and elegance of its original design while adding the convenience of modern day amenities.

The house is a bright and open space by day, then takes on a romantic aura by night as the intimate lighting reflects the beauty of the hardwood floors.

The General Store is 105 years old and inspires the nostalgia of days gone by as one stands beneath the high wooden rafters surrounded by the ceiling to floor aged wooden shelves.

Treasured fixtures include the cage of the old post office and the large iron bank safe which still stand honoring it’s former use.

Both buildings have heat and air conditioning with modern restrooms. 

The beautiful Gardens are perfect for an outdoor wedding or party, naturally decorated with all the splendor of trees and plants dating back over 150 years.

Don’t worry, if Mother Nature has the urge to water her creations on your wedding day; we simply move the ceremony into The General Store.
