Fall Feasts Upon Us at The Cooper House

Lets talk about cooking and Family.
My name is Nina Akin, I come from a family of 5 children, me being the last in line but sharing the place with my twin sister.
Dinner was always at 6:00pm and my mother used to ring a bell, or blow a whistle for us to come home.
We always were very health conscience and my mother ensured we had balanced meals with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
But Dinner time like every meal is a time to sit down and have a conversation about your day , your life, your work, you friends.
It truly is the best time to just hang out.
I like what the Italians do.
Meals are important, and they make wonderful food. If you have ever read the book.
Eat,Pray Love (which I highly recommend)
Eat plays an important part in our lives and in our society.
It is the one thing they felt they had control over and prided themselves in wonderful meals.
As do all cultures. A feast. Happy Fall – Nina Akin
